GHG Protocol Seal

We are very proud to announce that we participated in the 2024 Cycle of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program and obtained the Gold Seal for the publication of the complete inventory of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and verified by a third party. Carried out by the Center for Sustainability Studies at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program is responsible for adapting the GHG Protocol method to the Brazilian context and developing calculation tools for estimates of corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.   To learn more, visit https://www.fgv.br/ghg

TUV

OK Compost INDUSTRIAL certified COMPOSTABLE BIODEGRADABLE products can only be composted in industrial composting facilities (at temperatures between 55 and 60°). These products cannot therefore be used in garden compost. The European standard for the compostability of packaging (EN 13432) requires, in addition to a clear and detailed description of the product, 4 different tests::

  • Biodegradation test (chemical degradation of fiber polymers)
  • Disintegration test (physical breakdown of the product into small fragments)
  • Ecotoxicity test (test for possible negative effects on plants)
  • Heavy metal content test
NOTE: Biodegradability, ecotoxicity and heavy metal content are characteristics of the material, while decomposition is a characteristic of the material and form (final product).
